 John and Mary are great friends and I couldn’t be happier for them as they prepare to welcome their fist child into the family.  Just a few weeks away!! 

It was great to reconnect with Kelly and her family after so many years.  It was greater still to see that Kelly had found her perfect match in Dave.  There is something special that happens when you see the way these two look into each other’s eyes.  I have the best job!  Thanks guys for letting be part of such a wonderful day. 

It was amazing to see Renee’s wedding vision come to fruition and I was honored to be the one chosen to capture the moments.  My favorite of those moments came as Renee and Derek each shared with each other a favorite quote in front of their closet friends and family. Not a dry eye to be found (Renee’s was from Shelter From The Storm - one of the greatest songs ever written)  I hope the two of you enjoy these few pictures I choose as early favorites.  There are many more to come.  Have fun in Mexico! 

One weekend, two beautiful weddings!  Here is a peak at some images form the first day of my busiest weekend ever.  Laine was a gorgeous bride and along with her wedding party was up for a ton of fun.  Hope you two are having a great time in Peru!  Enjoy!!

I have to admit, I was a bit nervous as I led Rob and Kirsten straight into what was looking like a vicious storm.  As it turned out we stayed dry and the wind and clouds set the mood perfectly for this stunning couple!   I hope that the tall, sharp grass and thistles didn’t shred your legs like they did mine Kirsten.  Enjoy! 

 Jon and Christie are great friends of my wife Oksana and I so it was a tremendous honour to be there with them every step of the way on such a monumental day.  Starting with a heartwarming service (it was the first time I have had the pleasure of witnessing a father marry his son) and concluding with a laugh-filled reception at the Highlands Golf Club, the day was filled with moments that I will cherish along with the all the other family and friends fortunate enough to be there.  Thanks guys for letting me photograph your wedding!  I hope you enjoy some of my early favourites…..

We crawled through one chain link fence, hopped over another, and tossed a big ol recliner over one more.  It was all in pursuit of some great photos.  I think we were successful!  My thanks to Kelly and Dave for getting a little dirty and for being the ones to suggest a little good natured tresspassing.  Here is a sampler from our shoot. 

It wasn’t the warmest of days for a wedding but Shaida, Eddie and their courageous wedding party ignored the goose bumps, fed off the love from such a beautiful day and glowed as if they were on a beach in the Caribbean.  It paid off and we got some really great photos!  The bride and groom were such an unbelievably relaxed couple and along with their family put on a great party.  I had a blast being a part of it!

 I had a blast meeting Jason and Sara last weekend.  Despite a day of rain we forged ahead with our engagement session and i am so glad we did.  They were truly an easy couple to photograph as they were always laughing and having fun.  It was amazing to see two people so comfortable together.   I can’t wait to shoot their August wedding!
